We’ve been fulfilling (picking, packing, and shipping) orders for almost 50 years, and we have seen the evolution of the industry from its most basic beginnings to today’s very sophisticated requirements. Every order picked at the Jay Group is picked using an RF scanner to read a system of barcodes located on the inventory as well as the warehouse locations themselves. This system of RF scanning and barcodes ensures that all orders that our team of fulfillment specialists picks and packs is accurate. With two facilities within 30 miles of each other, we configure our warehouses for the full spectrum of fulfillment program requirements brought to us by our diverse lineup of industry leading clients.

For example, our Lancaster facility boasts a four-story quick-pick module with an integrated conveyer system, which is perfect for fulfilling small parcel orders. Once the orders are picked and packed, they travel via conveyer to one of our automated shipping stations where they receive their shipping label and are then automatically routed to their designated outbound lane for shipment. Orders requiring additional services, such as gift wrapping or personalization, are routed to a value-add station before continuing on their outbound lanes.
